Welcome Moana and Jen to AHF Pet Partners

Friday, August 25th, 2017

Jen McCormick and Moana are sure to bring smiles on their visits!

Moana came to a high kill shelter with a mangled leg. She was unable to use the leg, but the shelter could not spend the money to remove it. Save Some Bunny Rabbit Rescue took her in and arranged for amputation surgery.

She has fully recovered and she doesn’t miss that useless leg at all!! She enjoys running and jumping on the couch and sleeping in her own little
bed! Because she has had some health issues, she is a good example for children and adults who are struggling with their health. She has a very calm, loving demeanor and her fur is so velvety soft that you will not want to stop petting her.

Welcome Leo “de Lion” to AHF Pet Partners

Tuesday, March 1st, 2016

LeoHe displays amazing antics that make you laugh out loud, I mean belly laugh. That is truly therapeutic. The love and complete devotion he has for you as he stares up at you with his beautiful soulful amber eyes . His need to lay on you even though he is 80 pounds of pure muscle and lick your face until you can’t breathe. His amazing athleticism as he jumps up, twists around and catches the ball with all four paws off the grass. His enthusiasm of love whimpers and insanely fast wagging tail when you pull up to the house after you have been gone10 minutes or 5 hours. His 5 minute nesting ritual with numerous pillows, blankets, and any other object close in proximity. His desire to sleep under the covers; close to you at all times. Bottom line, he loves to love you, forever and ever, amen.

Noodles Tam

Breed: Dark yellow labrador

Birthday: 9/14/2013

Human mom: Jane

My name is Noodle. Please shake my paw. I’m a puppy at heart- don’t mind my 85 lbs of brawn and beauty. When I’m not flexing, I’m quite squishy and comfortable to nuzzle against. I’ve acted in roles such as blanket, pillow and foot rest. I’ve mastered the art of balancing things on my head, and my runway strut rivals that of super models. I love going to the beach, the dog park, on walks and places to make new friends- both human and dog. I hope to call you my new human friend.

Welcome back Janell Keider and her new Pet Partner Piper!

Monday, June 29th, 2015

Piper Keider Pix

Breed: Flat Coat Retriever Mix

Partner: Janell Keider

Piper was just a puppy when she was abandoned in another country. Kind people rescued her, collected donations, and bought Piper a plane ticket to the United States so she could have a safe and loving home. We adopted Piper before she was a year old and could tell that she would be a great therapy dog – she loves people, especially children, and is sweet and gentle. She greets our cats each morning with a wagging tail and lick on their noses. She also loves to race around the backyard, playing “tug” and “chase” with our other dogs. We are so happy that Piper joined our family!
