Mack, gorgeous little guy with a Mighty heart

ALWAYS... Humble Loving Guarding us There Looking Listening Playing Running, jumping Chuffing...so funny! Snuggling Sleeping...dreaming alongside me Waiting...for us to get home Expecting...those samples off my plate Excited...about going for a walk Loyal Caring...he would immediately run to the parrot if he knew she was in distress Welcoming...he didn't mind that we added a rescue cat named Henry to our family. They 'tested' eachother once or twice, then everything was Just Fine. Spoiled...of course! Cute...Beyond cute. ...author: his mother Our family had the extreme privilege of adopting Mack in April, 2007 from Lange Foundation. What a story Mack had at the tender age of 3. He was found on the streets of Lancaster, with long matted hair and suffering from pneumonia. The animal shelter was about to put him down when Lange Foundation stepped in and drove out to Lancaster to pick him up. The foundation nursed him back to health, sent him to the groomer, and put him up for adoption. I went to Lange Foundation to volunteer, and could hardly hear what the receptionist was telling me because there was this little black dog who kept making noise and jumping up to see. He was determined to get noticed. I couldn't resist requesting a visit and a walk with him. Our family of four went back to see him and take him for a walk, and the rest is history. We took Mack home, what a blast we have had! Mack has brought our family Tremendous joy throughout the past 10 years. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with a heart murmur and in recent past, it got worse and caused other problems as well. A relationship with a pet has a depth like no other, and the loss has a sorrow like no other.
