Eugene came into our lives as a retiring Champion Show Dog, 4 years old in 2014. Such personality!!! He loved walking into the businesses along Pier Ave, receiving organic pumpkin treats (we provided) from the owners & employees, sitting, shaking hands, truly enjoying this love & attention from all. Eugene visited Marcel, his breeder, a couple of times and loved making puppies!! Eugene had a car seat and went on brief errands (our car has special AC feature for animals). He also went on road trips to our desert home in AZ and especially shared a special trip across country to visit family and friends. Eugene was blessed and loved by all, especially by our ten grandchildren. They shed tears with us when he began to lose mobility from cancer- we got him a stroller and he continued his walks both in and out of the stroller, along our beautiful beach and the strand. Eugene passed peacefully in our arms on September 23, 2020, one month shy of his 10th birthday. He remains joyful, healthy and loving in our hearts forever....
