The SCVMA Honors Dr. Bill Grant, Sr.

The Southern California Veterinary Medical Association made a contribution to the Angel Fund in honor of Dr. Bill Grant, Sr. a long time member and past President of the SCVMA.

Dr. Grant and his wife, Ginny, founded Community Veterinary Hospital, Animal Friends Pet Hotel, and Animal Discount Clinic in Garden Grove, CA where he practiced for 50 years. Dr. Grant was a passionate, devoted, and admired leader in the veterinary profession and the community. He was president of the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association, served on the boards of the American Veterinary Medical Association Professional Liability Trust and the California Veterinary Medical Board, and was a member of the Garden Grove Lion's Club, the Garden Grove Elk's Lodge, and the Garden Grove 20-30 International Youth Exchange. After retiring from veterinary medicine, he became an avid avocado farmer in Valley Center, California.
